Terms of Hire
A £100 non-refundable deposit is payable on booking to hold your date for any Cheese Cart/LOVE Letters & Flower Wall booking.

A £50 nonrefundable deposit is payable on booking to hold your date for any Candy Cart booking.

Outstanding balance due 4 weeks prior to your event.

If the balance is unpaid after the due by date, it will be presumed that the booking is cancelled and it will be within the company’s rights to rebook the Hire item for another celebration.

The customer agrees to allow photographs taken by the staff of Bella Occasions to be used for promotional purposes.

Delivery and pick up of Bella Occasions Hire items to venues within a 20-mile radius of are included in the cost of hire, outside of this incurs a charge for petrol and additional travelling time. Prices on application.

Breakage/Damage/Loss Deposit

Carts:

A £100 breakage/Lost items deposit is required, payable on balance, which is refunded within 7-10 days of the event subject to there being no damage or loss to “Bella Occasions Hire Items’’. Complete loss or un-repairable damage, could result in additional replacement charges.

‘LOVE’ Letters & Flower Walls:

A £200 breakage/Lost items deposit is required, payable on balance, which is refunded within 7-10 days of the event subject to there being no damage or loss to “Bella Occasions Hire Items’’. Complete loss or un-repairable damage, could result in additional replacement charges.

In addition to the above deposits:

  1. I understand that I must provide 2 forms of ID which contain the address of the hirer from at least 2 established sources (e.g. government body, utility company, bank or other finance company) dated 3 months from the start of the hire date. Card details will also be retained for the duration of the hire and in signing this contract, the hirer understands that any damage or late return charges will be debited from their provided payment card immediately, and an invoice will be provided afterwards.  

  2. Failure to return or being able to collect the Hire items on time, will incur a min of £50 per day charge to the ‘Hirer’.

 

Cancellation charges will apply: -
Within 4 weeks of the event – 100% of total cost.
In the event of cancellation, any breakage deposit paid will be fully refunded in full.
In the very unlikely event that the booking is cancelled by “Bella Occasions” any payment received will be fully refunded.
We accept cash, cheque & bank transfer.

Nut Allergies & Safety Warnings
Please note that some of the sweets may contain or have traces of nuts or nut oils; or may have been made alongside other products containing nuts. Bella Occasions cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from food allergies. A file of all sweet ingredients and allergens will be attached to the cart for your information on request.

Customers should also ensure that children are suitably supervised to avoid sweeties being chosen which would pose a choking risk. This is even more important for children aged under 5yrs. Similar care should also be taken to ensure children’s safety relating to plastic packaging to avoid any risk of suffocation. Bella Occasions can NOT be held responsible for safety issues which occur from the use of equipment, consumables or the consumption of confectionery left at the celebration location.

Portable Appliance Testing

All our electrical items are inspected periodically and are PAT tested annually. You can see a copy of our certificate by clicking here.

  1. Insurance

Aviva Insurance provides us cover to the value of:

£1,000,000 of Public & Product Liability Insurance

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that:

  1. Under no circumstances, is the Cart/Flower Wall or ‘LOVE’ Letters to be moved during the celebration by anybody other than Bella Occasions staff.

 

  1. That you have checked with your chosen venue, that they allow external hire items on site.

  2. You liaise with the chosen venue prior to the event date and advise of a suitable set up & pick up time, mutually agreed.
